With over 30 stellar years in the food industry behind him, a plethora of awards to his name, a handful of best-selling cookbooks under his belt, and the tour de force behind some of Australia’s most celebrated dining establishments; it’s safe to say that Matt Moran is truly an Australian food icon.
A highly driven and passionate individual, Matt’s accolades are strong. Arguably one of Australia’s most recognised and influential chefs, he owns and runs 10 highly successful businesses (with an expanding empire), manages over 600 staff and while fully engaged in all aspects of his restaurants, stills find time to work on some of Australia’s most loved television programmes including Masterchef, Masterchef Junior, Heat in the Kitchen, The Chopping Block, My Restaurant Rules, The Bank and his own conceptualised award-winning TV show, Paddock to Plate.
Currently, he is a judge on the highly successful The Great Australian Bake Off, alongside Maggie Beer.
Matt is also a frequent contributor to magazines and newspapers globally, attends events and food festivals around the world and designs in-flight menus for Singapore Airlines... to name just a few of his commitments.
For the past 20 years, Matt has performed keynote speeches, cooking demonstrations, media interviews and panel discussions, so needless to say he is well versed in the art of presenting.
