Chef, television personality, ambassador, and corporate host Alastair McLeod takes his passion for food wherever he goes. He is a quick-witted MC and passionate guest speaker, inkecting his humour and personality to create an enjoyable environment for any event.
Alastair is best known for his roles on Channel Seven’s ‘Great Day Out’ and Network 10’s ‘Ready Steady Cook’, as well as his recipe column in Brisbane News.
Travelling around the nation, Alastair has been a part of an array of events, including corporate functions, food shows, and outdoor events. He has been the MC for the Good Food and Wine Show, as well as been a presenter at the Noosa Food and Wine Festival, Bundy Flavours, Regional Flavours and City Good Food Fair Month.
Raised in a multicultural family, Alastair’s food reflects such an upbringing. His repertoire includes a wide range of cuisines and his very own signature dishes.
As a chef, Alastair has worked at Michelin restaurants worldwide, including Roscoff in Belfast, Da Giovanni in Italy, La Fregate in France, and The Ubiquitous Chip in Glasgow.
Back home, Alastair has been executive chef at the Brisbane stalwart Baguette, which won consecutive Restaurant and Caterer awards under his guidance.
Most recently, Alastair launched his own business, providing small- and large-scale catering to private and corporate clients.
