Social Entrepreneur creating positive change and sustainability
As the founder of Planet Ark, DoSomething, Rock Aid Armenia, and One Tree Per Child, Jon Dee is a passionate social entrepreneur who uses communication and education to create positive change.
Jon is host of television program ‘Smart Money’, where he teaches businesses and organisations the positive effects of sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
Jon has also written and published several business guidebooks, including ‘Sustainable Growth’, and ‘Energy Cuts’, which details the importance of sustainable business in an easy to understand manner.
Co-founding Planet Ark and DoSomething alongside Pat Cash, Jon worked to create a positive change in the community. Heading Planet Ark for 15 years, Jon ran successful campaigns and initiatives that became household names.
In 2016, Jon was named NSW Australian of the Year for his work in the environmental sector.
As a speaker, Jon has presented over 300 times, both nationally and internationally. He speaks passionately on the topics of business sustainability solutions and community engagements, and is an exuberant MC and panellist.
