The ability to make good decisions is a crucial quality of any business person. And yet, we don’t get taught how to do it in school or university.
Luckily, over the last 40 years, amazing, Nobel Prize winning research has created a new understanding of how we humans make decisions, where we sometimes go wrong, and what you can do about it. This becomes significant when you face a big dilemma in business or in life. How can you maximize your chance of success and be confident you made the right choice with the information you had?
Using a combination of science and real life stories, Rob shares some of the latest insights and tools that can help you and your organisation be more confident decision-makers.
Keynote 3: Be More Productive and Less Busy
The first question in this keynote is, “What is Great Work to you?” We get the audience to figure it out for themselves using a specially designed interactive task.
With a unique combination of science and storytelling, Rob then brings to life the latest research on why our brains are sometimes our worst enemy when it comes to focusing on Great Work. The talk will show you what you can do to get back in control of your emails, your meetings - and even the book you said you were going to write.
How can you use proven scientific insights to do more great work, be more productive – and at the same time feel less stressed? This keynote will give you the clues to make changes that work for you.
