As the fearless new face of Australian sport, the French-born Australian Noémie captured global attention when she stormed to gold at the Paris Olympics, making history in one of the Games’ most high-adrenaline events, the inaugural women’s kayak cross event.
Having spent years battling expectations, comparison, and self-doubt before stepping into her own
spotlight, Noémie speaks with honesty, humour, poise, and heart about finding your own identity, and the importance of self-belief, perseverance and resilience in the face of extreme pressure.
A multi-discipline competitor across three disciplines: Kayak (K1W), Canoe (C1W), and Kayak Cross, Noémie is recognised for her explosive racing style, strong technical ability, and dynamic presence on and off the water.

transformation, Noémie bridges elite sport and organisational performance, offering practical insights for leadership teams, students, and high-performing professionals.
Noémie is a passionate advocate for positive mental health, youth empowerment, and inclusion, making her a powerful ambassador for purpose-driven brands.
Along with her sister, Jessica Fox, Noémie received The Don Award at the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2024; an award given to the athlete who most inspired the nation. The Fox sisters are the first Australian siblings to win individual Olympic golds in the same games.
Noémie was awarded an Order of Australian medal in the Australia Day 2025 honours.
Noémie is a true modern-day role model who is rewriting what it means to lead, inspire, and stand out. As she says, “if luck is going to be on anyone’s side, why not yours.”
