Kane Hall

Veteran Advocate & Resilience Leader Turning Adversity into Action

Kane Hall served as a Trooper in the Australian Army with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, and 3rd/4th Cavalry Regiment, deploying to Afghanistan with the latter in 2011 with the Mentoring Task Force 3. During his deployment Kane was blown up by an improvised explosive device (IED) while driving a Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle.

Since leaving the Army, Kane has battled with a diagnosis of PTSD, and has dedicated much of his life to supporting and advocating for the Veteran community, first in South Australia and now in New South Wales, including his time establishing the Nowra Veteran Wellbeing Centre’s community and wellbeing programs. He is currently the Immediate Past Chair of the Young Veterans Committee, and a member of the Veteran Services and Policy Committee for RSL NSW.

Kane is accompanied by his Wife, Annastasia, and their two children.
