Adam Zwar
A comedian who can entertain a broad range of corporate audiences.
Adam Zwar is pure comedic gold. He co-created Lowdown and Wilfred – Lowdown has been critically acclaimed after a recent run on the BBC. Wilfred, starring Elijah Wood is playing on the FX network. Zwar followed this with the successful creation of Agony Uncles, Agony Aunts and The Agony of Life, a hilarious ABC series.
Zwar award winning streak has seen him win two AACTA Awards for Agony Aunts and Lowdown, two Australian Writing Guild Awards for Best Comedy – Lowdown I and II and two AFI Awards for Wilfred – Best Screenplay and Best Actor.
As an actor, Adam has appeared on Underbelly, The Wedge, Stingers, Blue Heelers Sea Change, The Wedding Party Rush, Howzat and Rake.
As a writer, Zwar has credits on Wilfred, Lowdown, Agony Aunts, Uncles, Cats, Rats, The Wedge and the Agony of Life. Adam also spent time as head writer for the AFI Awards.
Working with business partners Nicole Minchin and Amanda Brotchie, Adam is currently producing various titles.
