One of Australia's Favourite Comedy Talents
Critically acclaimed comedian Damien Power remains a fan-favourite, delivering laugh-out-loud shows to sell-out venues across the country.
Debuting in 2015, Damien toured his show I Can’t Believe I Cared worldwide, before bursting onto the festival scene in 2016 with Sell Mum into Slavery. Shot for ABC’s Comedy Next Gen Series, Damien’s show saw widespread praise from audiences with his biting social commentary on headlines and real issues.
After being nominated for the Melbourne Comedy Festival award for a third time, as well as a Pinder Prize in recognition of his comedic prowess, Damien continued to make audiences laugh around the world.
His next show, Utopia: Live in 3D played at the Assembly for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and at London’s Soho Theatre. Damien was also chosen to perform at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival later that year. Following this, Damien returned to the stage with Violent Chaos Anyone and Man Puts his Dreams in a Sock, and performed Regret Man at all major Australian Comedy Festivals in 2021.
In collaboration with other comedian icons, Damien has been involved in True Australian Patriots, which won Director’s Choice award at the 2016 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He also stars in Anne Edmonds’ Edge Of The Bush.
