Mea Campbell is lawyer, writer, mother, and the founder of Connected AU, a purpose-led business on a mission to fight the loneliness epidemic in Australia.

Inspired by her late grandfather, Mea established Connected AU in early 2020 and her idea has grown from humble beginnings to one of the fastest growing and most impactful businesses in Australia.  In just over two years there have been over 25,000 individuals and families participating in her programs, hundreds of schools, businesses, community groups, even a list of celebrities. She has secured national corporate partnerships, engaged with all levels of government, and is paving the way for a changing narrative of loneliness and isolation in Australia.

Mea grew up on a farm in the small town of Dunedoo in central west NSW, her schooling at the local public school was synonymous with academic, sporting and community successes, and her tertiary achievements with bachelors and postgrads in law and social science, highlight that education can open doors, regardless of parameters. After working as a lawyer in private practice for a number of years, Mea transitioned to work in Juvenile Justice in Western NSW and discovered a passion for working with and improving the lives of vulnerable communities and children.  On maternity leave, Mea had a vision and created Connected AU, with determination, grit and tenacity she has singlehandedly built a national business changing the lives of tens of thousands of people in Australia.
