Finalist and DIY expert on 'The Block'
Having discovered his passion for DIY on Channel Nine’s ‘The Block’, Dan Reilly is one of Australia’s leading experts when it comes to home renovations.
Competing in the 2012 season of ‘The Block’ alongside his partner Dani Wales, the duo quickly became a household favourite among audiences. Despite having lacked prior experience in home renovation, they would continue to surprise with a series of successful renovations on the show.
In the end, the pair came in at 2nd place.
They would later re-appear for ‘The Block: All Stars’ where they were challenged once again with some of the most difficult home renovation challenges ever. Putting their skills and relationship to the test, the two would make it to the podium at third place with their $1.5 million home.
Thanks to his experience on ‘The Block’, Dan discovered his passion for DIY, which led him to having a permanent role on the show as a site foreman. With Scott and Keith, Dan has become a pivotal part in maintaining workplace safety on the show’s worksites.
As a Certified Master Builder, Dan currently runs Red Door Project, his own design and construction business. He has helped to design and renovate houses across Victoria and NSW for homeowners of all kinds.
Dan’s DIY expertise make him a highly engaging speaker with plenty of lifestyle and wellbeing advice.
