Jennifer Trethewey

Jennifer is a professional and entertaining speaker , facilitator and Master of Ceremonies, basing her presentations on her diverse and impressive experience of over 23 years within the Tourism, Retail, Events and Marketing Industries.

She has held middle and senior management roles with Coles Myer, Macquarie Bank Leisure Trust and the Drysdale Institute of Tasmania.  Jennifer founded The JT Group in 2007 a marketing, communications and project management company with profile clients including ANZ Trustees, Miele, Ansvar Insurance, Country Fire Authority, University of Melbourne, and The Australian Marketing Institute.

As a Speaker Trainer Coach, Jennifer can share her incredible journey and adventure through the corporate and government sectors. Her desire to motivate, educate and inspire audiences, to learn to face challenges, embrace their uniqueness and be the best at what they do is an obsession. Her infectious enthusiasm, positive approach and down to earth demeanor has made her a very popular and sought after personality.

Her attention to detail and dedication is evident as a trainer/teacher and she thrives on working with corporate or government groups to develop strong communication skills and achieve the unachievable. Her work as a one-on-one life/business coach has achieved extraordinary results – with her clients securing roles interstate and overseas through consistent career mapping and personal intensive coaching.

Jennifer is currently the Chair of the International Special Events Society Australasia Affiliate – which regularly takes her to the USA to take part in their leadership forums. She was a councilor on the Australian Marketing Institute Victoria council and Past President of AMI. She is a Certified Practising Marketer and a member of the National Speakers Association of Australia.
