Gary Bertwistle is one Australia’s key leaders in innovation and creativity. He has been working in the innovation industry for over 25 years, aiding in the improvement of retail, music and radio industries. He supports individuals to think differently and helps them to unlock their imagination, removing the barriers they have in their lives. His ideas are simple and easy to apply, ensuring that his audience takes aboard his advice.
Known for opening The Ideas Vault, a creative thinking venue in The Entertainment Quarter in Sydney that is utilised by some of the largest organisations for meeting and creative thinking, Gary assists businesses in their venture for success.
He is also co-founder of The Tour de Cure, Australia’s leading cycling foundation that raises money for the research support and prevention of cancer. Tour de Cure has now raised over $18 million in donations and many more millions in publicity since its formation in 2007.
As well as founding Tour de Cure, Gary also founded the Day of Inspiration. It is described as a fundraising day where keynote speakers, entertainers and performers gather in Sydney in front of a corporate crowd raising money for the research of a cure for cancer.
Bertwistle is the successful author of six books including: ‘The Keys to Creativity’, ‘Who Stole My Mojo?’, ‘What Made You Think of That?’, ‘The Vibe’, ‘My Dad’s Got Mojo’ and ‘What I Wish I Knew About Cancer’. His passion for thinking differently is a key point in every book, ensuring his message gets across to a large number of individuals in effort to open up the minds of Australian everywhere.
