Graeme Cowan helps leaders and their tribes be more agile and resilient, and avoid burnout. In 2010, Graeme founded ThriveCentral, created to help employees cope better with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.

Graeme was motivated to create these programs because of his own mental breakdown during the Tech Crash in 2000. Through research done for his four books and helping to start R U OK? he has discovered simple rituals that can increase wellbeing and effectiveness.

We all know how stressful workplaces can be with the relentless drive to do more with less. Graeme’s presentations and resources are practical and engaging, and yet underpinned by evidenced 

Earlier in his career, Graeme worked in senior leadership positions for Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Morgan & Banks and AT Kearney. In 2000 he helped Gavin Larkin and a small team start R U OK, and is a current Non-Executive Director.

He is the author of 3 books in the ‘Back From The Brink’ series and ‘Thriving Naturally: 30 Day Mood Plan’. He is a regular media commenter and has been interviewed on ABC TV and radio, The Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian, 2GB, 3AW, 2DAY, and many others. 

Graeme has worked widely across a whole range of industries, and his list of clients include Ramsay Healthcare, NSW Health, Medibank, NAB, Macquarie Group, ANZ, Suncorp, PWC, EY, as well as many others.
