Sarah Harris is an esteemed Australian television presenter known for her engaging presence and sharp wit. Currently a co-host on Network 10's, The Project, Sarah began her career in journalism after studying at Queensland University of Technology. Her journey started at the Seven Network in Brisbane in 1997, where she could be seen reporting for Seven News and Today Tonight, before later moving to Prime Gold Coast News and then returning to Seven as a cadet news reporter.

In 2002, Sarah joined the Nine Network, where she contributed significantly as a reporter and fill-in presenter on various shows including Extra and Today. She spent over a decade reporting live from major events worldwide such as the Cairns Tilt Train derailment and Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen’s funeral. Her career continued to flourish as she moved to Sydney in 2007, becoming a prominent figure on Today and various news programs.

In 2013, Sarah made a pivotal career move to Network Ten, joining the panel of Studio 10 as co-host alongside industry legends Ita Buttrose, Joe Hildebrand, and Jessica Rowe. This role showcased her versatility, combining her journalistic prowess with her natural charm and ability to connect with audiences. She later assumed the helm of Shark Tank in 2014, guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through their business pitches, and has also fronted various holiday specials for the network, including both Easter with The Australian Women's Weekly and last year's Christmas with The Australian Woman’s Weekly. Sarah can also be seen on 10’s other programs including The Sunday Project, ‘Hughesy, We Have A Problem’ and ‘Have You Been Paying Attention?’.

In November 2022, Sarah Harris made headlines once again with the announcement of her transition to The Project as co-host, succeeding Carrie Bickmore. This move marked a new chapter in her career, further solidifying her reputation as a dynamic and influential figure in Australian media.

Beyond her television roles, Sarah is also a dedicated national ambassador for The Smith Family, advocating for educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth.
