Julian Morrow is the co-founder of The Chaser. He’s one of Australia’s sharpest comedians and has made a career out of his gift for instigating thought-provoking instances of public nuisance.

Julian is also known for The Election Chaser, CNNNN, The Chaser’s War on Everything, The Hamster Wheel and The Checkout. In 2012 and 2013 he joined ABC Radio National as host of Friday Drive and in 2020 and 2021, he hosted Sunday Extra on Radio National.

In 2015, Julian founded Giant Dwarf theatre at 199 Cleveland Street Redfern. Over the years he has interviewed some of the world’s greatest minds including Edward Snowden, Christopher Hitchens, Sting, Nobel Peace Prize winner Leymah Gbowee, Marc Newsome and the curator of TED Chris Anderson.

In 2009 Julian was invited to give the Andrew Olle Media Lecture and at the 50th Annual AWGIE Awards, he received the Fred Parsons Award for Outstanding Contribution to Australian Comedy.

In recent years, he was Executive Producer of Lawrence Leung’s series Choose Your Own Adventure and Unbelievable, Eliza and Hannah Reilly’s Growing Up Gracefully and Sarah Scheller & Alison Bell’s The Letdown (which on the 2018 AACTA Award for Best TV Comedy).

Julian’s sharp wit and stage presence make him a highly engaging host and MC capable of captivating a room and charming an audience.
