Jan van de Stool is the alter-ego of beloved musical theatre star Queenie van de Zandt. Jan is suited to any audience from any industry and can host or MC a variety of events.
Queenie combines her skills from musical theatre with excellent communication and her positive nature to produce a hilariously awkward and cringe-worthy character.
With an uncanny ability to suit any role she is given, Jan will deliver a presentation that is sure to be remembered. Often described as a ‘self-taught self-help guru’, she uses audience participation that leaves guests laughing and wanting more.
Her books, CDs and DVDs are fuelled by hilarious views and her expert opinion, as she channels a Dutch-Australian who is oblivious to her unsteady grip of the English language. The more Jan attempts to fit in, the worse her characteristics become and the higher her comedic skills rise.
As Jan van de Stool comes alive she combines attributes from various characters including David Brent from ‘The Office’ and Marjorie Dawes from ‘Little Britain’, to produce an entirely new charisma which has amused and entertained audiences across the nation. She has been featured on the 2016 season of Australia’s Got Talent and she has performed her one-woman show ‘I Get The Music in You an Evening with Jan van de Stool’ to packed houses in Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide.
