Beloved Broadcaster, Entertainer & Corporate Host with Decades of Stardom
Denis Walter OAM burst onto the entertainment scene in the early 70’s, and has since remained as popular as ever. Recording 16 albums over his career, he is one of the most iconic voices in Australia, entertaining audiences for over five decades as a compere, radio presenter, singer, recording artist, news presenter, media personality, and Master of Ceremonies.
Through his work as 3AW Nights’ host (2008), a television guest, recording artist, corporate host, and performing at concerts and clubs, Denis maintains an exceptionally full schedule. As a veteran recording artist, Denis received the title of one of the top rated 3AW radio announcers. Additionally, he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2015 ‘Queen’s Birthday honour list for his service to the performing arts as a singer, entertainer, and to the broadcast media.
Later in 2018, Denis was announced as the host on Nine network’s travel series ‘Helloworld’, appearing in the first series. He even went on to represent several businesses with their commercial endorsements, further reinforcing him as the household name he is today.
