Paul Greenberg is an entrepreneur, psychologist, ecommerce expert, digital futurist and is highly regarded as the pioneer of online retail in Australia. He co-founded Australia’s first online department store, DealsDirect, which has since gone on to list on the Australian Stock Exchange. Now, he is the founder and executive chairman of nora.org.au, The Voice of New Retail in Australia.
Paul is regarded as a pioneer of online retail after co-founding DealsDirect in 2004. He has also worked closely with eBay Australia, building a trading assistants model called Auctionbrokers.
He has worked in several directorship and advisories roles for an assortment of companies including Afterpay, Urge, Criteo, Paperless, ADSone, Reed Exhibition Group and FIRAE.
In 2011, Paul was recognised for his contribution to the growth and development of online retail industry and was awarded the inaugural Industry Recognition Award at the Online Retail Industry Awards.
Two years later, Paul was named as one of Inside Retail’s 50 Most Powerful Retailers.
He is a registered psychologist with a keen interest in organisational psychology and the psychology of entrepreneurship. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Paul is also an author, having released his first book ‘Africa to the ASX’ which received great success. He is currently writing his second, titled ‘New Retail – It’s Not Online or Offline’.
