Ting Lim

Ting Lim is a bold, uncompromising, and fearlessly funny stand-up comedian, writer, and actor based in Brisbane. Originally from Singapore, Ting brings a unique outsider’s lens to Australian comedy, blending raw personal storytelling with sharp punchlines, dry wit, and unexpected vulnerability.

Since bursting onto the scene as a national RAW Comedy finalist, Ting has built a reputation as one of the most compelling voices in Australian stand-up. Her festival shows - Well.. This is Awkward and What I Really Think, have captivated audiences at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and beyond, drawing praise for their emotional depth and fierce intelligence.

Ting’s honesty and command of the stage have also landed her on screen, most notably in two seasons of the hit ABC TV series Fisk, where her comedic timing and authenticity were on full display alongside some of Australia’s most celebrated talent. Ting has also participated as a guest performer on Thank God You’re Here,  featured in Jimeoin’s travel series Waltzing Jimeoin and made her debut on The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Opening Night Allstar Gala on ABC iView in 2025.

With her roots in the immigrant experience and the awkward absurdities of life, Ting crafts comedy that is as confronting as it is cathartic. Whether she’s tackling cultural taboos, family dysfunction, or the politics of identity, she does so with deadpan charm and sharp emotional insight.
