Mark Bickley

A football legend whose passion extends beyond the field

Playing in 272 games of football with the Crows, Mark Bickley is known as one of the most reliable players. His dedication to the sport and his club payed off when he was granted as club captain in 1997, leading the team to Grand Final victory over St Kilda. He further cemented his reputation as a great leader by guiding the team to victory once more the following year, winning the Grand Final against the Kangaroos.

Bickley continued to play in the Crow’s midfield up until his retirement from the sport in 2003. He then shifted his dedication to the media side of the sport, working with Channel 9 in Adelaide and Melbourne, presenting the weekend sports news as well as being a panellist on the Sunday Footy Show. He has also worked as a regular on Triple M’s game day team, providing comments based on his experience as a footballer and applying them to the game unfolding before him.

In 2006, Mark was invited to join the selection panel for the All Australian team, where he worked for three years. In 2009 he was induced into the AFL Hall of Fame, a high honour for any footballer, as well as returning to the Crow’s working as an assistant under Neil Craig.

Bickley’s presentations are filled with football anecdotes and represent the great career he has achieved. He can educate audiences, motivating and inspiring them to become great resilient leaders.
