Full Presenter Profile & Bio
Harley Breen has blown away audiences from the Melbourne to Edinburgh to India. Regularly headlining around Australia, Harley has won over a legion of fans with his accessible and relatable comedy.
Consistently unpredictable, Breen’s sets seamlessly move from side-splitting material about the foibles of being a new-age dad to dodgy tales of his beloved old Kingswood; all without missing a beat. He projects the immediately recognisable and relatable image of the unpretentious Aussie male.
Harley doesn’t just use his instant likeability as a platform to deliver solid, topical material, he also gets beneath the nature of things to create a true bond with all his audience and deliver an experience that will be talked about long after the gig is over.
In 2016, Harley performed his 10th solo show Smell the Penguins across the country to sell-out crowds. But he is more than just a popular act, recieving praise also coming from his peers in the form of the peer awarded Comic’s Choice Award in 2011. Harley is also one of a select handful of comics chosen to tour around Australia as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow.
Harley appears on numerous TV shows including The Project (TEN), Best Bits (SEVEN), It’s A Date (ABC) and Celebrity Family Feud (TEN). He is also a regular guest host on Merrick and Australia for the Triple M Radio Network.
He has won many awards including the Piece of Wood Comic's Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2011, the Spleen Comic of the Year in 2010 and the Tron Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007.
