Dave is one of Australia's most recognisable stand-up comics. He has been in the comedy business for over thirty years and has performed at twenty Melbourne International Comedy Festivals and numerous comedy clubs around the nation.

Dave is a regular on TV screens across Australia and has written and acted in films (even starring alongside Eric Bana) and contributed to numerous sketch comedy shows. He has made regular appearances in shows such as Can of Worms, Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight, Good News Week, Tractor Monkeys, The Agony of Life, Agony Uncles, Spicks and Specks and Hughesy, We Have A Problem. In fact, he holds the record for being the most regular guest on Spicks and Specks with a total of 54 appearances.

In addition to his stand-up and television career, Dave is also a successful radio broadcaster. He has been part of successful teams on various radio shows, including Nova 100, Vega 91.5 (Classic Rock FM), and 774 ABC Radio Melbourne.

In 2017, he launched his podcast, The Debrief, with Dave O'Neil. He drives a comedian home from a gig in each episode and discusses comedy and their career.

Dave has also written five books, including his latest bestseller, The Summer of '82.

He is a highly sought-after MC and corporate entertainer, known for his observational humour and genuine humility. Along with his ability to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere, Dave leaves everyone roaring with laughter, making them feel like they've stumbled into a casual conversation among friends.
