Reg Crawford

Reg Crawford is a Storyteller and Keynote Speaker. He served for 22 years in the Australian Army and for many of those years, in the elite Special Air Service Regiment, the SAS.

Reg speaks about his experiences in and out of the military about life outside of the comfort zone, with stories on leadership, teamwork and performance in the most adverse of life situations, and the consequences of those experiences on mental health and resilience.

Some of his career highlights include:

· He was awarded the United States Bronze Star Medal for acts of leadership during the 2003 Iraq War.

· Was the first Australian to arrive in Rwanda after the genocide that killed nearly one million people in 1994.

· He commanded multi-national units on operations.

· Acted as a Counter Terrorism advisor to the NSW Police Commissioner during the Sydney Olympic Games.

· Spent time as an advisor to the United Nations in New York.

· Was invited to conduct a review of the operations of the football department of the Collingwood Football Club as well as being asked to be an advisor to Olympic and World Championship sporting teams.

· Has consulted to the International Criminal Court.

· Is a significant charity fundraiser and seeker of crazy challenges.
