Tenneile Manenti

Registered psychologist, former Director of Health and Safety for the NSW Rural Fire Service, and founder of The Business Psychologist

Tenneile Manenti is a registered psychologist and founder of The Business Psychologist, with more than 15 years' experience in psychosocial risk, well before it became a named duty under Australian WHS law.

As former Director of Health and Safety for the NSW Rural Fire Service, she was responsible for the wellbeing of people whose job is to run toward what everyone else runs from. Before that, she spent six years designing and delivering leadership programs for large corporates at Deloitte. She holds a Masters in Organisational Psychology (Birkbeck, University of London) and has presented across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and South Africa.

Through The Business Psychologist, she works with leaders, HR and WHS teams to understand what's really driving pressure in their workplaces. She also sees individuals through her clinical practice, Mind Logistics. That double vantage point shapes everything she delivers: she sees what a psychosocial hazard does to one person, and what it costs the organisation that missed it.

On stage she's direct, warm and occasionally cheeky. She takes psychosocial risk out of compliance language and into something leaders can actually act on by Monday morning.
