Auhor - Mother - Widow - Advocate for Workplace Safety
Jacci is a long time Safety advocate, but a new speaker to the block.
Through lived experience, she shares the heartbreaking and confronting story of losing her husband, her best friend and father to their 2 young children leaving an impacted introduction to widowhood at the very young age of 32. All because of a 100% preventable workplace incident. 2026 sees her launching her first book called ‘Endurance’ A widow’s insight into workplace tragedy.
She vowed to her husband, on his death bed, to get justice & accountability and make change so that nobody else has to endure the almighty pain that her family did and still goes through today.
She promised him that she would make him proud of her and their children. This is ultimately her why and her life's purpose.
Jacci has been involved in groups & committees in both NSW and QLD to help bring change to the system. She has been a speaker at the 2024 Workplace Health and Safety show in Sydney, a colloquium, and a Panel Speaker at the World Congress in Sydney on behalf of her group. Her story is sure to impact, and it will change the way workers view safety in the workplace.
She will bring the message home to each individual, in the hopes of starting the conversation about safety in their workplace as well as at home with their family where the reality of that impact hits the most.
