Full Presenter Profile & Bio
As our usual systems and environments of support and comfort have been thrown into chaos and we’re all having to learn how to work from home surrounded by pets, family members, Netflix and our great nemesis - the refrigerator, it’s tempting to try to beat ourselves up or gee ourselves up in pursuit of performance, or even a sense of control. But this pursuit of discipline can be a mistake, particularly in times of high pressure and stress.
In truth, design beats discipline in the long term and rather than trying to discipline or motivate ourselves (using the old carrot and stick), we would do far better to design systems and environments that create a bias towards success, and away from failure.
Dan Gregory will give you and your team the tools to build a sense of self-control without amplifying a sense of self doubt and failure.
In this insightful and highly practical presentation, Dan Gregory will help you to:
- Identify the break points in you behaviour
- Learn how the right environments aids performance
- Define your “wins” specifically and tangibly
- Build systems that bias towards success
Dan had the room engaged from the outset and took our team on a 90 minute journey, resulting in eyes and minds being opened to new opportunities. The feedback after the event was overwhelmingly positive - we wouldn’t hesitate in working with Dan again in the future
t was a pleasure to deliver the genius of Dan Gregory to our conference. Dan’s infectious enthusiasm, coupled with his brilliance, was incredibly well received by our audience with many following up on his presentation in months to come. I would personally recommend Dan’s services to any event manager who is looking to effectively engage, educate and inspire their delegates.
Our recent event was a great success, largely due to Dan Gregory. Dan met our brief completely, with his presentation providing a strong and supportive storyline for our launch. We couldn’t have asked for more, and are looking forward to other opportunities to work with Dan in the future.
