Graeme Bowman

Promoting better operating systems for every organisation

Graeme Bowman has dedicated his professional career to helping corporate leaders navigate changes to their organisation’s ‘human operating system’.

Drawing on decades of experience and research, he addresses key issues that reinforce the patriarchy, how societal trends have transformed traditional styles of leadership, and how organisations can leverage these changes to create more sustainable and ethical processes at every level.

As a writer and “hoax speaker” (corporate imposter), Graeme draws on comedy to satirise the absurdities of society, corporate life and government bureaucracies. His presentations also reflect the philosophies of his favourite thinkers, include Peter Senge, John Elkington, Margaret Wheatley, Naomi Klein and Ariana Huffington.

His popular “From Pozzy to Cozzy” workshop inspires a willingness among corporate executives to promote better conversations around diversity, ethical leadership and sustainable business. He hopes to flip the outdated Pyramid Operating Scheme (“Pozzy”) into a more nurturing way of leadership with a Circle Operating System (“Cozzy”). The interactive presentation emphasises a collaborative solution to dealing with deep systematic issues.

Graeme helped to produce, write and present the experimental production “Patriarchy – Where Would We Be Without You”, which blended a range of contemporary visual arts installations with poetry, satirical humour and performance.

He has also contributed his insight as a co-founder of Wise Women Will Save the World, a non-profit online community dedicated to societal, environmental and economic sustainability.

With over 30 years experience across every entertainment medium, Graeme has perfected content-rich presentations that sit in the intersection between creativity, comedy and communication. His extensive research has made him a highly popular speaker with organisations across government, corporate and community sectors.
