Grant Denyer is a beloved Australian personality, whose dare-devil antics and easy-going nature saw his popularity grow quickly. Holding extensive experience as a host, Grant understands how to maintain the attention of an audience, keeping them engaged and interested in the subject.
Most recently, Grant was awarded the Gold Logie at the 2018 Logie Awards. He is now set to co-host Network Ten's 'Dancing with the Stars'.
Beginning his broad career within the media as a journalist at Prime TV in Wagga Wagga, Grant couldn’t have imagined the path his life would take.
In 1999, he joined Network Ten as a full-time reporter. His on-screen skills and extensive racing knowledge saw him shift to a pit reporter for the V8 Supercar coverage.
At the start of 2003, Grant joined Channel Seven’s morning program ‘Sunrise’ as Weather Presenter. During his time, he managed to set five official Guinness World Records, including largest tandem bungee jump record acheived by jumping out of a helicopter on Bondi Beach. Grant also tried out as a rugby league cheerleader, travelled around the nation in a weather wagon for an entire year and was the first journalist to report from Innisfail’s cyclone zone in 2006.
Achieving a lifelong dream to be a V8 Supercar driver, Grant earnt ninth place at his first Bathurst 1000 in 2006. In the same year, he was a contestant on the fourth season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, where he managed to take home the trophy with his quick learning and impressive dancing skills.
In 2009, Grant hosted Channel Seven’s ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ and a year later he reprised his role as the Sunrise weather presenter. Grant continued at Sunrise for three years before resigning to spend more time with his family.
Grant was host of Network Ten’s ‘Family Feud’, a family quiz show which catches people off guard leading to humorous and unexpected answers.
