Tom Walker

Tom Walker won the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s ‘Best Newcomer' and Director’s Choice awards for his comedic debut show ‘Beep Boop’ (2016), and in the same year appeared in “Whose Line is it Anyway?”. Following this, Tom’s show was later nominated in the Best Show category of the festival’s awards (2017), and more recently he was long-listed for the 2021 AACTA Awards. Tom has been wowing audiences with his quick wit and quirky intellect for several years.

Tom’s critically acclaimed feast of physical comedy has never failed to leave audiences in fits of raucous laughter. He was also part of the hilarious trio, ‘Zanzoop’, who had an uproarious show that won the Director’s Choice Award. Tom toured both shows nationally in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, and internationally in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Soho Theatre in Melbourne.

In 2015 Tom underwent professional clown training at the prestigious clown and acting school ‘École Phillipe Gaulier’, receiving various awards for his improv, including the Sydney School Theatresports Cup (Senior Division) (2007), and the National Theatresports Championship (2011). He spent time amongst famous alumni such as Emma Thompson and Sacha Baron Cohen. From there, Tom has crashed the world of comedy, quickly infiltrating the ranks to become a recognised face and name.
