Bev Killick

Energetic and Raunchy, Bev is guaranteed to leave her audience in fits of laughter.

Likeable and bawdy, Bev is from the bold and brassy school of stand up, delivering a non-stop energetic set every time.

Ever since she was a little girl, Bev has always had a talent for making people laugh and with an ability to remember a joke and tell it well. An entertainer at heart, she loved putting on shows for her family and friends, including stand-up comedy in the school courtyard long before knowing it would be her calling.

However, it was in Melbourne where Bev's innate comedic abilities were polished and became noticeable. She participated in numerous performance workshops, from clowning to improvisation. She perfected her Stand-up routine, which she toured around Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane comedy circuits. Bev performed in some of the top comedy spots, including The Espy, The Comedy Club, The Comic's Lounge, The Comedy Store and the Sit-Down Comedy Club. In fact, she loved The Espy so much that she married the Lighting Guy, who would give her extra special lighting during her sets.

Bev was later given the opportunity to travel with the global sensation "Puppetry of the Penis" as their opening act after her electric energy and ability to send crowds into fits of laughter drew the attention of its producers. Bev accepted the offer eagerly and performed to over 250,000 people across Australia.

Bev then landed a role in the much-aired Berlei Ad for the Uplifting Tour of Australia. Her life seemed to be centred on breasts for a while as she was later asked to perform as a Bosom Buddy in the hit show "Busting Out!". Since then, she has appeared in numerous advertisements, including Yellow Pages, Super of the Future, Herald Sun, Coopers Beer and Berri Juice. In addition, Bev also has experience in voice acting, from radio advertisements to movie characters such as in the feature film "Little Johnny: The Movie" released in 2011. She has worked with comedic stars such as Weird Al Yankovic, Wayne Brady, Gina Riley and Jane Turner as a guest cameo on Kath and Kim. Not only that, but Bev was also a panel member on Beauty and the Beast, a featured comic on Stand Up Australia, and appeared as a special guest on the hit show Pizza.

Bev is an incredible comedian and performer who is guaranteed to leave any audience laughing non-stop.

In 2020, Bev was nominated for Best Comedy at the Melbourne Fringe Festival for her show, "Don't Tell Tony".
